Synopsis: Two strangers’ chance meeting on a rainy day in Oakland sparks a romantic connection between them. Ava is a struggling artist who’s just been dumped by her boyfriend, while Marcus is a successful business owner who’s feeling disillusioned with his life. As they take shelter from the rain together, they begin to talk and discover that they have a lot in common.

Over the next few weeks, Ava and Marcus continue to run into each other around Oakland, each time feeling a stronger pull. They go on dates, share their dreams and fears, and start falling in love. But as their relationship deepens, they must confront the challenges that come with their different life experiences. Ava is hesitant to get too involved with Marcus, fearing that he might not understand her artistic pursuits. Marcus, on the other hand, struggles with his own insecurities and fears of commitment.

As their feelings for each other grow, Ava and Marcus must decide whether to take a chance on love, despite the obstacles in their way. With the support of their friends and family, they learn to confront their insecurities, and ultimately find a way to bridge the gaps between them. In the end, they realize that love is worth taking a chance on, even in the midst of life’s uncertainties.
